CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD
We are seeking more volunteers for this ministry when we resume in the fall! Join us in supporting the families of our parish. If you don't feel ready to lead children as a Proclaimer of the Word, don't worry — you can still make a significant contribution by volunteering as an assistant.
The volunteer commitment is only 1–2 Sundays per month. Come join us during the liturgy and see if you are being called to serve!

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION
We welcome all children from kindergarten to fifth grade to participate in this program. Our sessions focus on sharing the fundamentals of our Catholic faith, and also prepare children for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion if they are enrolled in 2nd grade or higher. Classes begin September 13 and are available in both English and Spanish. English classes are held 10:15–11:15 a.m.; Spanish classes are held 12:15–1:15 p.m.

Todos los niños, de kínder a quinto grado, son bienvenidos a participar en este programa. El enfoque de nuestras sesiones es compartir los principios fundamentales de nuestra fe católica y también preparar a los niños para los sacramentos de la Primera Reconciliación y la Primera Comunión si están inscritos en el segundo grado en adelante. MEN'S CURSILLO WEEKEND
What can I do for you, Lord? How can I build a loving friendship with God to sustain me in times of happiness and challenges?
These are questions addressed on a Cursillo weekend experience. The next Men's Cursillo Weekend will be held Thursday, October 1 (7:00 p.m.) through Sunday, October 4 (5:00 p.m.), 2026, at the Blessings Lodge on the campus of Camp Overlook in Keezletown, VA. The theme of the weekend is "Open Our Hearts, Lord."
A Cursillo is a 3-day encounter to enrich your spirituality and raise awareness of Christ in every moment of your life. Cursillo recognizes we aren't meant to walk this journey of life alone — we need spiritual nutrition that comes from sharing with other believers. Come walk this journey alongside other Catholic men of all ages and be filled with the joy Christ offers each one of us.

The next Women's Cursillo Weekend will be April 15–18, 2027, at Agape Hill at Camp Overlook.
Tee Up for the Annual CCS Golf Tournament!
Join Charlottesville Catholic School on Monday, September 28 at The Club at Glenmore for a fun-filled day of golf, fellowship, and supporting Catholic education!
Registration is now open for individual golfers and foursomes. Tickets are $250 per player.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and provide excellent exposure to more than 100 golfers in a beautiful setting while supporting our school community.

CASJE Game Night
Calling all rising 8th graders and high school students for Game Night on August 7th from 5-9 PM, where strategy, wit, and teamwork take center stage. Whether you enjoy classic board games, fast-paced card games, or lively group challenges, there will be something for everyone. Bring your competitive spirit, your sense of humor, and a friend. We look forward to seeing you there! Parents are invited to stop in and learn more about our affordable classical high school in the Catholic tradition.
