St. Cecilia —Patron Saint of Musicians

Music Ministry

In the words of St. Augustine, those who sing, pray twice! So, when we lift our voices in song, we’re not just following a ritual or performing a tradition. We’re engaging in an act of love, a deeper form of prayer. As we harmonize our voices in our churches and our homes, let us embrace the profound truth that in our singing, we’re praying twice! COTI is blessed with a community that loves to sing. COTI has many opportunities to get involved in music ministry whether it’s vocally or playing an instrument.

Children’s Choir is open to children 2nd grade through middle school. We rehearse on Thursday nights at 5:30pm for an hour. The Children’s Choir leads worship once a month (rotating Masses) from September through June.

Youth Choir: Open to middle through high school kids. Youth Mass is the second Sunday of each month at 5:30PM. Rehearsal begins at 4:30PM. Instruments are welcome!

Saturday Night Choir (5:30pm Mass) is open to all (high school and beyond).  We lean more towards worship and praise music at this Mass vs traditional. Rehearsal is at 4:30pm on Saturdays.

Sunday Mass Choirs (9am and 11:30am) are open to all (high school and beyond). Sunday Masses offer a mix of both traditional and worship and praise music. Rehearsals are Thursday nights at 7:00pm.
