Baptism
for
Youth
(Grades 6th - 12th)
If you are in middle school or high school and want to be baptized or become fully Catholic, you will walk through a special journey of faith called Christian Initiation.
You will work with Patrick Drury, who will guide you and your family step by step. Together, you’ll learn about what it means to follow Jesus, grow in prayer, and become part of the Catholic Church.
This process is not rushed—it gives you time to ask questions, learn about the sacraments, and discern if the Catholic Church is the right tradition for you. Along the way, you will be supported by Patrick, our parish community, and your family.
The journey leads to the most important night of the Church year: the Easter Vigil. On that night, you will receive the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation—the three sacraments that welcome you fully into the Catholic Church.
After the Easter Vigil, your journey continues as you keep growing in faith, living as a Catholic, and becoming more and more the person God created you to be.
