For more than 20 years, Incarnation has sponsored food drives to collect non-perishable items for local agencies and families in need–including those served through our very own Parish Food Ministry. Parishioners participate by distributing flyers at local grocery stores and collecting food donations from shoppers. Food goes to support the Emergency Food Bank and our own Parish Food Ministry. We have collected over 40,000 pounds of food in the past five years!
A food drive is held each summer, and typically about 5-7 area grocery stores are included in it. We always need people to help for the two days during which food is collected!
This year, our Food Drive is Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15.
If you would like to offer your time to help with the Food Drive, please contact Patrick Cottrell (pmahoneyc@comcast.net) or the parish office. Families and children are welcome and encouraged to participate!
